IT Support Engineer (Desktops / Servers / Networks)

Due to continued growth we are recruiting for the following position based out of our new offices at Millennium Park, Naas, Co. Kildare.

You will have a minimum of 2+ year relevant technical experience.
Experience working within a similar organisation supporting multiple customers very advantageous.

Responsibilities Include:

• PC, Server, Network Support at all levels
• Efficient Helpdesk Maintenance
• Manage and Deploy Installations
• Customer Communication

 
Desired Attributes:

• As this is a customer facing role you must have excellent communication
  and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
• You will be highly motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative, to take tasks and run with them.
• You will have an aptitude for IT and have excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast moving environment, multitask, and to be adaptive and resourceful.
• Industry qualifications e.g. Microsoft, Cisco advantageous 
• English as primary language
• Awareness around IT business requirements, customer needs, prioritisation and satisfaction.
• Leadership around responsibility and ownership for tasks. 
• Relevant third level qualification.

Technical Experience Desired:

• Excellent knowledge of PC operating systems and Applications
• Good knowledge of server OS and applications
• Good understanding and exposure to the configuration of firewall systems (VPN, NAT etc)
• Good  understanding of networking protocols especially TCP/IP
• Exposure to telecoms and VOIP advantageous but not essential
